Nearly 150 people from across the XQ schools convened to celebrate and learn together with a focus on advancing equity through innovation. Conversations were led by XQ CEO Russlynn Ali, Co-Founder of Twitter Biz Stone, XQ Board Member Geoffrey Canada, and many others in education and beyond. Experts facilitated workshops on embedding equity, expanding student voice and choice,  and promoting the achievement of marginalized students. The symposium also covered topics like implementing student-centered learning, infusing education technology into the classroom, and competency-based learning. Educators and youth leaders directed their own learning with peer-to-peer sessions on topics as diverse as data-informed, personalized learning, student activism, and enhancing teacher morale.
