Rethink Together Guidelines

Comments and posts on Rethink Together are subject to moderation and may not immediately appear live on the site. Please keep the following guidelines in mind.

BE NICE. Be respectful of others’ opinions and experiences.
The future we create together will be one that is welcoming and tolerant of different ideas and perspectives. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

BE GENEROUS. Share content that is relevant to this group.
We encourage you to share content that will help members #ReThinkHighSchool in their community.

BE CURIOUS. Thoughtful questions and comments are encouraged.
The change you want to see in education can only come to fruition if you have meaningful conversations about how to get there.

What we won’t accept

  • Posts that promote products or services.
  • Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links aren’t allowed. Posts like this will be deleted.
  • Bullying or hateful messages.
  • Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. Those who participate in this type of behavior will be removed from this community.
  • Posts that are inaccurate or unsubstantiated.
  • Your experiences, perspectives, anecdotes, and ideas are welcome and encouraged. However, we ask that you provide evidence to support claims that are presented as facts.

We do not accept submissions that advertise, sell, or market a product or service; promote specific political candidates, or seek to influence legislation. Members are responsible for the accuracy of all facts. The opinions stated within submissions do not necessarily reflect or represent those of XQ Institute, its Board of Directors, or its partners.
