When creating this piece, I was thinking about the question, "What does a comfortable, safe, productive, and positive learning environment feel like?" To me, I believe an environment such as this is a place where all people's voices are heard, no matter the gender, race, disability, or sexuality. In a perfect learning environment--even in a perfect world--one wouldn't have to try and mask who they are for the sake of others. This is what my piece means to me.
