Make 50 different sketches/thumbnails and use at least three different types of medium (paint, marker, pencil, crayon, collage, 3d elements, comic style, graffiti etc.)

Is this an requirement to enter in the contest? or this is like an guideline sort of? And the theme is ‘a world you want to see’ correct?

This isn’t a requirement for entry into the contest. We do, however, love when our community members share their thoughts so we can #rethinktogether how we can use art and activism to reshape our communities. Good luck in the contest!

Here are my 50 thumbnails. I did 20 digitally, 20 in pen and ink, and 10 in colored pencil. This was a great learning experience. With the digital thumbnails, I focused more on the intricate details in how each character is positioned. The pen and ink thumbnails dealt more with negative space in my composition, and the colored pencil ones mainly dealt with colors I’m thinking of using in the final piece.
