XQ is developing a project-based high school algebra curriculum that engages students in authentic opportunities to explore their interests in real-world contexts while building essential skills.

We are seeking educators to help us develop this new curriculum designed to bring equity, authenticity, and engagement to high school math education for all students.

XQ Math is a project-based algebra curriculum that:

  • Uses authentic, real-world contexts that resonate with students and make the math more relevant and engaging
  • Builds confidence and agency as students set learning goals, solve problems they care about through mathematical modeling, and choose artifacts that demonstrate competence
  • Supports all learners, particularly those underserved by traditional math instruction
  • Combines academic, cognitive, and social-emotional skills to ensure rigorous learning while meeting state standards
  • Includes continuous support through live coaching, on-demand resources, and a collaborative educator community

An Invitation to Co-Pilot

We are seeking bold and passionate educators to join us in revolutionizing math education.

Teachers who participate in the XQ Math Algebra pilot will:

 • Serve as advisors, reviewing XQ Math content and providing feedback  
 • Choose their level of participation. Teachers can participate in a focus group and pilot test individual resources, entire modules, or the whole curriculum.  
 • Be compensated and recognized for their contributions to the curriculum
