Here at XQ, lifelong learning is more than an awesomely alliterative phrase. It’s a way of life that’s defined by an openness to engage with ideas that are exciting, challenging, and forward-thinking. That’s why we were so excited about the 2019 iNACOL Symposium: Shining a Light on the Future of Education. The event represented an opportunity to plug into what’s new in education innovation while adding XQ’s voice to an ongoing conversation about what it means to #ReThinkHighSchool in America. For 2019, XQ contributed to sessions like What Does a Super School Look Like in Practice?, Big Thinking through Systems Building, and Why Interoperability Matters: A Superintendent’s Perspective. School leaders from Brooklyn LAB, Grand Rapids Public Museum School, Iowa BIG, Crosstown High, and Washington Leadership Academy shared insights and learnings from within their schools. In line with the theme of the “Future of Education,” XQ leaders shared how to implement new school practices equitably and creatively.
