When I imagine an ideal learning environment, I think of one where positivity and kindness are universal and ubiquitous. School is a lot more than just a place to receive an education. For many kids, schools offer things like a support system, a shelter, and an overall community that might not be accessible otherwise. Everyone deserves to feel like an accepted, and embraced, member of their community. Just by emphasizing the importance of being nice to one another, we have the potential to change the world for the better, one person at a time.
